Most of us will 'pridefully' debase ourselves in hopes that people will think we are pious. Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. Jordan... I struggle with this mentality and, truthfully, I don't know how the American church can get past it in the current society that we find ourselves. Very few people, I feel, are willing to forget themselves in order to magnify Christ as we are called to do. Humility… how do we measure that?
